All animals require a consultation with a doctor prior to surgery to ensure your pet is healthy enough for the procedure and to provide you with an accurate cost estimate.
This procedure, commonly known as a spay, is performed on female pets to prevent them from becoming pregnant and to protect them from various health concerns later in life. It’s generally recommended to schedule the surgery once your pet is 6 months of age or older.
It’s also the perfect time to consider microchipping—an easy and effective way to help ensure your pet can always find their way home!
This procedure, commonly known as a neuter, is performed on male pets to prevent reproduction and reduce the risk of several health and behavioral issues later in life. It’s generally recommended for pets 6 months of age or older, once both testicles have fully descended.
It’s also an ideal time to have a microchip placed—giving your pet a permanent form of identification and extra peace of mind for you!
This procedure is performed when your pet has lesions or cuts that need to be stitched or stapled to promote proper healing and prevent infection. Our DVM will carefully close the wound, ensuring the best possible recovery for your pet.
This procedure involves the removal of lumps or growths from your pet. We also offer the option to send these samples to a laboratory for testing to determine if they are cancerous or malignant tumors, ensuring the best course of action for your pet’s health.
The decision for diagnostics will be made in consultation between the doctor and the client, based on the presenting issues during the appointment. An estimate will be provided before proceeding with any diagnostic tests.
Radiographs are a valuable diagnostic tool that help veterinarians identify various conditions and health issues in your pet.
We offer abdominal screening radiographs to determine if your female pet is pregnant and to count the number of puppies or kittens. These radiographs should be taken no earlier than day 55 of the pregnancy for the most accurate results.
We will collect and send your pet’s blood sample to a laboratory to check for various diseases and conditions that may be related to the function of their organs, helping us detect any potential health concerns early on.
We can collect urine from your pet or test a fresh sample that you provide to check for a variety of conditions, including urinary tract infections, crystals, kidney disease, and more. This helps us diagnose and address any potential health issues promptly.
We can collect a fecal sample from your pet or test a fresh sample that you provide to check for various conditions, such as intestinal parasites, helping ensure your pet’s digestive health is in top condition.
